Power Grid is a fantastic strategy board game that is the English version of the German game Funkenschlag. In the board game Power Grid you will play as an electricity company seeking to expand and control the flow of electricity to an ever expanding network of cities and territories. Be careful though, you'll need to make smart choices as you'll have to bid on new power plants. How much are they worth to you? That's up for you to decide. 

Plus, as you purchase your newly beloved power plants, they'll become obsolete as newer and better technology flows in behind them. It's tricky to say the least. Is it the right time to buy? You'll have to make that call. Also, Power Grid is unique as the turn order of the players changes constantly according to the game, so be ready for that. 

Power Grid is one of those slept on and underrated tabletop games that is often overlooked. Very cool.
